Making a Date
Students will learn to ask others out for a fun activity as they practice and review auxiliary/modal structures with ir a, tener que, querer, and poder. They will be able to ask someone to do activities such as grab a coffee, go to the movies, or take a walk. Students will study a conversation in context with all relevant vocabulary. They will be able to pronounce the questions and answer them effectively with detailed information.The four featured modal verb structures from the previous lessons will be put into context and students will be able to manipulate the structure to form their own meanings.

Practice with Auxiliary Verbs
Students will learn the auxiliary structures deber + infinitive, acabar de + infinitive, their conjugations, and their applications in everyday sentences. This lesson includes problem-solving practices, as well as speaking practices.
Students will learn the structures: deber + infinitve and acabar de infinitve. They will be able to conjugate and apply meanings. They will be able to differentiate between must/should forms of deber. Students will review previously learned verbs as they practice.
